ethereal are the tendencies
that define our motions
habitually robotic
devoid of passion
a flame harnessed
before the orange glow
has the chance to breathe, grow
restricted, directed
enforced morality
accepted practice
the machine rolls on
innovated technology
but no departure
from archaic confines
and so the debate remains
frailty, or nature?
and fuel to the fire:
are they even distinguishingly different?
